About Cabo San Lucas Hotels
Los Cabos has a wealth of great accommodations options available at a wide variety of price points. Beachfront resorts tend to be the most popular places to stay, but budget lodgings, boutique hotels, and bed and breakfasts all have their adherents, and campgrounds are available for those who have made the 1,000 mile drive down the peninsula. Private villas are a great choice for larger families and wedding parties, and can be surprising affordable on a per person basis. For extended stays, condominium rentals and time shares are also good alternatives.
Beach access and ocean views are standard at the large luxury resorts that hug the coast, from the Playa Hotelera in San Jose del Cabo to the hillside enclave of Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. Most of these larger resorts feature onsite restaurants and spas, as well as baby-sitting services and kid's clubs with supervised activities. All-inclusive plans that package lodging, food, drinks, and select activities at affordable rates are another popular option, particularly with resorts in the Tourist Corridor that connects the two Cape cities. Budget-oriented hotels are primarily located in downtown Cabo San Lucas, and are within easy walking distance of the Marina and Medano Beach.
