For several years, guests at the luxurious Omni Cancun resort had the option to purchase the all-inclusive plan or to have no meals included in their room rate. That is no longer the case. On February 1, 2012, the hotel became a fully all-inclusive property, joining the long list of other all-inclusive resorts, in Cancun.
At this time, approximately half of all of Cancun's hotels are now all-inclusive resorts. Travelers enjoy the all-inclusive concept because it allows them to easily budget for their vacation. With all food and beverages included in the price of the trip, you don't have to bring much spending money and you'll know you won't break the bank by dining out in a tourist area.
DaVinci's, the upscale Italian restaurant at Omni Cancun was not cheap when it was open to the public. Now, hotel guests are to dine there at no extra charge. That alone is worth the cost of an all-inclusive vacation package to Omni Cancun. There are additional restaurants and bars on the hotel grounds, and these are also included in the hotel's all-inclusive package.
In addition to delicious, gourmet cuisine, the hotel also boasts a 40-person jacuzzi on the beach, a fantastic spa, and a fitness center with state-of-the art equipment. The attentive staff at Omni Cancun pampers guests throughout their stay, and this is why the hotel has so many repeat clients that visit year after year.
In other news, Omni Cancun was recently remodeled and, in March 2012, the entire Omni hotel chain was named as one of the "10 Best Hotel Chains for Families" by Parents magazine.
