Imagine the perfect dining experience. What would you expect it to consist of? Probably lovely decoration and ambiance, live piano music, the perfect wine parings and unparalleled cuisine.
You’ll find all this and more at Fantino, located in The Ritz-Carlton Cancun. Fantino, holder of the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award, is one of the finest dining experiences in Cancun. The cuisine is Mediterranean, with a contemporary touch. Dishes are perfectly executed and beautifully presented. The family-friendly (if your little ones are well-behaved) restaurant even features a children’s menu.

Fantino is romantic, and the ballroom setting features wall-to-ceiling windows, hand-painted ceiling frescos, satin curtains and chandeliers. The dress code is “resort elegant,” and men are required to wear jackets, long pants and shoes. Fantino also features a private room for parties and celebrations.
For the ultimate Fantino experience, diners must try the six-course tasting menu with wine pairings. Fantino highlights include three kinds of olive oil for their delicious homemade bread; parmesan soup; pear carpaccio; arugula, almonds and buffalo mozzarella cheese salad; watermelon and goat cheese salad; and porcini crusted filet mignon. You must save room for the dessert cart.
The chef is always happy to cater to special dining needs if you are a vegan or vegetarian or require a kosher or gluten-free meal. You may inform the restaurant about special dining needs ahead of time if you wish to do so, but Fantino has gluten-free bread and pasta on hand.
Fantino’s service is exemplary and formal yet warm. Ladies' handbags receive their own stool. Each dish is presented with a flourish by various servers. Wait staff will never touch your napkins. They always use tongs. After dinner, ladies receive a long-stemmed rose.

Fantino is open every day from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. You don’t have to be a guest at The Ritz-Carlton Cancun to dine at Fantino. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, be sure to mention it when you make your reservation. Please note that this is not the place to dine if you are in a rush.
The Ritz Carlton Cancun is one of the few AAA Five Diamond Award-winning hotels in Cancun’s Hotel Zone. Located at kilometer 14 of Boulevard Kukulcan, The Ritz-Carlton is also home to AAA Five Diamond Award restaurant The Club Grill.
The Club Grill, which features cuisine and service of equal excellence to that of Fantino, has the feel of a jazz/supper club with live music, candlelight and a relaxing atmosphere. As with Fantino, you do not have to be a guest at The Ritz-Carlton to dine at The Club Grill.
