The expansive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort located in Puerto Aventuras, about 50 miles south of Cancun, quite literally has it all. For couples, there is the adult-only Heaven side of the resort, and for the whole gang, the La Hacienda side provides rockin’ fun, food and activities.

What’s the most important feature of an all-inclusive resort? The beach! Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya’s beach does not disappoint. The heavenly turquoise blue natural swimming pool is protected from the open Caribbean Sea by giant rocks, forming a protected cove where guests can grab a kayak or snorkel mask and explore safely. All guests will love the beach, from grandma to the tiniest toddler. There are plenty of loungers and beach beds (which must be reserved) available.

La Hacienda’s pool area goes on and on. There are both deep and shallow pools, large and small pools, bridges, a waterslide and a huge swim-up pool bar. Service by the pool is excellent, so grab a lounger or one of the Hard Rock’s little pod-beds and order a cocktail.
The pool area is headquarters for the lively daily activities, but if you’re looking for some peace and quiet, then you can hang at the far end of the pool or head to Heaven, as long as you don’t have any kids with you. There is a pizza restaurant and snack bar (complete with ice cream) open in the pool area all day.

When you get hungry, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya has plenty of convenient and delicious options. The Market, a buffet restaurant located off the lobby, is open for breakfast and dinner. As for a la carte, Frida (Mexican), Pizzeto (pizza and pasta), Ipanema (Brazilian) and Zen (Asian) are open for dinner. Cafetto in the lobby offers coffee, continental breakfast and desserts.
The Heaven side offers additional options, again, as long as you don’t bring any children with you. Of course, there’s always room service as well, including a special option for breakfast. (The night before, you can choose what time you would like it to be delivered in the morning.)

Thanks to the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya’s kids club - the Little Big Club - little rockstars will experience the vacation of a lifetime, too. Not only does the club feature a clubhouse with all the trimmings, all day activities (including meals) and their own little swimming pool with slides, but kids also get to meet Barney, Angelina Ballerina and Bob the Builder in person.

Need some pampering? Located on the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya’s adult-only Heaven side, Rock Spa offers rockstar zen in 75 treatment rooms, steam rooms and hydrotherapy current pools. There’s even a spa butler. The Yoga Temple and Body Rock Fitness Center complete the adult-only wellness amenities.
If you’re ready to party, visit the Posh Beauty Salon and then head to Club Heaven, the hip, modern nightclub, also on the Heaven side. The party begins at 10 p.m. and doesn’t end until you say so. On La Hacienda side, you can grab drinks at either the Sun Bar in the lobby or at Float by the pool (and, of course, in all of the restaurants). The Heaven side also features various bars and lounges. A Teen Lounge & Club is coming to La Hacienda soon.
