You may be used to hearing Mariachi and salsa music in Cancun, or maybe even rock and pop, but now the soulful R&B music of Barry Ivan White and the Satin Soul Orchestra has arrived, so get ready to groove at the Grand Oasis complex located at kilometer 16.5 on Boulevard Kukulcan.
Barry and his orchestra are performing renditions of beloved R&B classics by The O´Jays, The Temptations, the other Barry White and more.

Barry Ivan White’s career has spanned over decades. He has been a member of the internationally known group The Platters since 1984, and has performed with Huey Lewis & The News, LeAnn Rimes and Hootie & the Blowfish.
Barry was born and raised in Miami, and had an early introduction into the world of music in church. After years of working in gospel music as an artist, producer and promoter, he made the transition to secular music.
Tickets to the Barry I. White and the Satin Soul Orchestra concerts are available to the general public for $89 (USD) per person, which includes a three-course dinner with wine and one hour of domestic open bar.
Guests staying at any of the Oasis hotels may purchase discounted tickets for $58 (USD) per person, a 35% savings.
The Grand Oasis complex is known for its entertainment offerings. The resorts will also host Oasis Dance U, a series of weekend concerts featuring some of the most popular acts in the electronic dance music world such as Dirty South, DVBBS and Cash Cash. In addition, the Oasis Jazz U Festival will take place in the spring of 2016 and will feature performances by Chaka Khan and others.
