Cancun has so much to offer its visitors: world-class dining, shopping and lodging; endless activities for all ages; ancient Mayan history; and natural wonders like mysterious cenotes. Although Cancun is much more than a spring break destination, students still flock to its white sand beaches and turquoise Caribbean waters each year between February and April.

One of Cancun’s most popular spring break hotels is Oasis Cancun, known as 'The Entertainment Resort' in the Oasis lineup. During the early spring months, this lively (to say the least) resort becomes a student’s spring break dream come true, complete with swim-up pool bars and loud music playing all day. The atmosphere here can only be described as one big party.
The resort has featured a spring break extravaganza - also known as the Oasis Dance U Festival - for three consecutive years. This year, from February 14 through March 30, high school and college students will stay at the resort and attend the events. Local and internationally known DJs, themed parties and daring daily contests top of their regular entertainment program. All events are held at the beach club and/or swimming pool.

Featured artists include Bobby Burns & Apster, Sidney Samson and Manufactured Superstars and Sander Van Doorn. Themed parties range from foam, pillow and Mardi Gras to carnival, holi and Oasis Loves U. The party continues nightly at Oasis Cancun’s bar Coyote Loco.
It is important to note that the Oasis Cancun is an economical resort. Guests are charged extra to use the safe or to have a stocked mini fridge in their room. Guests can pay for an upgraded all-inclusive program in order to have access to the restaurants at nearby Grand Oasis Cancun.

All Oasis Dance U Festival events are included for guests staying at Oasis Cancun and Grand Oasis Cancun. Guests of other Oasis resorts receive 50% off on day passes. For those who are not guests of an Oasis resort, day passes (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) are available for main event days for $75 USD per person. On days that a main event is not taking place, the price of a day pass is $50 USD. Day passes include open bar and a buffet lunch, as well as use of the beach and pool areas, showers and restrooms.
Oasis Cancun is normally a great family resort, but not at this time of the year. Families with children should book their vacation before or after spring break, as things can get pretty loud and risqué. Of course, spring breakers won't mind!
