Cancun is now home to yet another wild and crazy nightclub. La Vaquita ("The Little Cow") is located in the heart of Cancun’s Party Center in the Hotel Zone at kilometer 9. The fiesta begins each night at 10 p.m. and doesn’t end until 6 a.m.

La Vaquita’s open-air décor has a stadium-like design (meaning there are various levels going up from the main floor) and incorporates red and black and, of course, cow print. The set-up allows party-goers to see everything that’s happening in the club and the Party Center outside. Gorgeous go-go girls are placed strategically around the club for all to enjoy.
You’ll find all your favorite cocktails at La Vaquita, as well as beer. Open bar is available as well as bottle service, or you can purchase individual drinks. Shot girls (aka “mopeteras”) and a strange man dressed as a cow (toting syringes filled with what one can only assume are alcoholic concoctions) make the rounds all night.
The club serves litros, or liter-sized drinks; this is a very popular trend in Cancun. Cover at La Vaquita is $20 USD or $30 USD for open bar.

La Vaquita features a crazy theme night, the neon Let’s Get Ridiculous party. Employees and clubgoers dress up in, um, interesting (and glowing) costumes and, well, get ridiculous. The party even has its own hashtag, #RidiculousParty. If you get ridiculous enough, you may end up on La Vaquita’s Facebook page.

La Vaquita is part of the Grupo Mandala family, which also owns The City, Palazzo, Mandala, Dady’O, MB (Mandala Beach Club) and Elevate & Ultra Sky Club in Cancun. You can also find La Vaquita in Playa del Carmen (where they feature Ladies Night on Monday and they host a wet t-shirt contest called Chichis Pa’la Vaca on Tuesday) and Puerto Vallarta.
All of the Grupo Mandala clubs have their own distinct personality and throw an unforgettable party. The City can hold up to 5000 partygoers, and features shows throughout the evening. Palazzo is beautiful, with a giant chandelier in the center of the dance floor. Mandala, which is an open-air nightclub, is one of Cancun’s most popular nightspots.
Dady’O is a Cancun nightclub institution and was one of the city’s first discos. Elevate & Ultra Sky Club offers two clubs in one, and MB (Mandala Beach Club) is the best place in Cancun to party the day away.
