Surprise Your Loved Ones with Unique Christmas Gifts from Cancun

When we give a holiday gift, we want it to be special, something that the recipient will treasure and use for years. So what better place to shop for Christmas gifts than Cancun?

Cancun has grown a lot in recent years and due to this growth, the shopping has greatly improved. Visitors can purchase anything from a Cancun key chain or t-shirt to designer handbags and clothing in anywhere from an open-air market to Luxury Avenue, an upscale mall in the Hotel Zone.

One place to shop for unique items is the central park in Cancun, Parque las Palapas. If you're looking for traditional Mexican pottery, clothing or souvenir-type gifts, Plaza La Fiesta can't be beat. For economical prices and a taste of local life, head to Market 28 (Mercado 28) in downtown Cancun. If you don't want to leave the Hotel Zone you might prefer Coral Negro, an open-air market located in the Party Center.

Marina Town Center and Plaza Las Americas/Malecon Americas in downtown Cancun are huge shopping malls with a large number of department stores and boutiques, much like La Isla and Kukulcan Plaza in the Hotel Zone. Spend an afternoon at any of these malls Christmas shopping, seeing a movie and having lunch.

Do some Christmas shopping in Cancun in its many shops, malls and markets.
