5&33, a new venue that will open its doors to the public on October 16, 2013, is bringing a unique concept to the Amsterdam scene. This multi-purpose venue, complete with an open kitchen, dining facilities, a bar, lounge and public art gallery, will provide a pleasant space for people to stop by any time of day.
The interior, which was designed by Eyal Shoan, uses materials such as wood, concrete, black steel and glass, combining to create a chic, contemporary look. At the center of the venue is an impressive 12-meter-wide, 6-meter-high interactive art installation, designed by studio Present Plus.

The chefs use fresh ingredients, many of which are local - so even though there is a fixed menu, the menu can change periodically.
Guests can also pop by for a drink. The bar, which will be open late into the evening, boasts a wide variety of beverages, both alcoholic and otherwise. Make your selection from creative cocktail concoctions, draft beers, nice wines available by the glass or bottle, liqueurs and spirits, juices, soft drinks and more.
During the week, 5&33 will invite various guest DJs to spin. Grab a seat around the freestanding bar, relax and enjoy. 5&33 will also add to its repertoire by hosting various events, such as film nights and tastings. Venue 5&33 is ready to welcome you.
