Italian cuisine is not often associated with gluten free. Therefore, options are typically limited if you or your partner have a craving. Café Piazza understands this and takes its customers very seriously. The quaint restaurant, situated near Nieuwmarkt, offers a variety of gluten free alternatives, including three types of pasta – penne, fusilli and spaghetti – as well as meat and fish options. The latter is served with pasta of your choice or quinoa. The wait may be longer, as each dish is prepared in its own separate environment to ensure there is no cross contamination. Communicate your preferences up front, and the staff will be happy to accommodate. Gluten free beer and wine is also available, ready to perfectly pair with your meal. Finish off the evening with a sweet treat, such as the gluten free ice cream or, on occasion, gluten free cake. Buon appetito!
