The Light Group’s newest nightclub, LIGHT, has opened at Mandalay Bay. The first-ever nightclub turned on by Cirque du Soleil, the 38,000-square-foot venue truly redefines the Vegas nightlife experience.
“With each new venue we introduce, The Light Group aims to offer something completely new and revolutionary to Las Vegas nightlife,” said Nick Gold, creative director for The Light Group. “[With LIGHT], we wanted to create a completely interactive, mind-bending nightlife experience, just like a Cirque show.”

Actual Cirque du Soleil performers then perform these shows throughout the night, creating a unique experience that all depends on who’s spinning. Everyone in the club is a part of the show, and there’s even an “Acrowall” behind the DJ booth where club-goers can watch as the Cirque du Soleil performers bounce off the wall and fly through the air.
However, while the atmosphere may be unrivaled and the resident DJs list is comprised of some of the biggest names in the EDM world, LIGHT’s biggest draw may be the simple fact that it’s not pretentious like some other nightclubs.
“LIGHT was designed to be completely accessible to music fans,” Gold stated. “So while we have the tables and bottle service of a typical Las Vegas club, we also have the biggest general admission floor in Las Vegas and worked with the DJs to keep presale general admission prices lower than other venues (starting at $20) so the true music fans could come enjoy the show and get close to the DJs.”
Talk about a turn-on!
