Fremont East is building up a steady supply of fun places to have a drink, and the Mob Bar is one of the newest places to stop for a cocktail. If you're a Mafia trivia fan, you'll probably be overflowing with jokes about offers no one can refuse and who's sleeping with the fishes (see "The Godfather" if you have no idea what any of that means). If you're just looking for a place to have a drink, you're also in luck. No passing score on a Mafia quiz is required.

Glassware, music, food, and the bar staff's uniforms are all in the spirit of this bygone era. The food, Italian (what else?), arrives in ample portions. The drinks are named after guns and mobsters, so be forewarned that you'll need a getaway driver (a.k.a, a designated driver). The Mob Bar plans on expanding its hours once the Las Vegas Mob Museum is open, but until then you'll have to stop by in the evenings. Happy hour is 4-7 pm on weekdays. While no secret password is required to get into the bar, getting into The Mob Bar's website requires giving your email address and inviting at least three friends to the website.
