Scheduled to open this December, the 13,000-square-foot Hershey’s Chocolate World at New York - New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas will immerse guests in the candy brands they love, including Hershey’s, Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’s, Ice Breakers, Jolly Ranchers and Twizzlers.
More than just a confectionery shop, the flagship store will offer an assortment of Hershey’s-branded products, including T-shirts, mugs, cookbooks and plush items. It will also feature several interactive experiences, such as customizing candy wrappers and personalizing Hershey’s Kisses plumes.
“The store will be very experiential,” said Blair Ford, general manager of Hershey’s Chocolate World Las Vegas. “Guests can have their picture taken and put on a Hershey’s chocolate bar, email a Hershey’s Kiss to someone with a message on it and even create their own Reese’s commercial. There will also be plenty of photo ops in the store that are unique to Las Vegas and New York-New York, like an Empire State Building made out of chocolate and a King Kong and Statue of Liberty made out of Twizzlers.”
Sure to satisfy any sweet tooth, the store will have its own sweet shop on the first level featuring a variety of unique Hershey's offerings, like chocolate-dipped strawberries, cupcakes, cookies and even fudge.
“Guests will be able to taste a lot of treats they won’t see anyplace else,” Ford said. “As they say in Las Vegas, ‘Go big or go home,’ and we’re doing exactly that. Between our attractions, our photo opportunities and our social media interactions, Hershey’s Chocolate World will truly be a must-see.”
Hershey’s Chocolate World will be located between the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge as part of New York-New York’s new modified skyline, anchoring an array of new shops and dining experiences. It’s scheduled to break ground in August.
