When you think about the most likely places to ride a zip line, Las Vegas might not be the first place that comes to mind. Fortunately, the people at Flightlinez Fremont thought an urban zip line in downtown Las Vegas would be a great idea. The result? A fun, easily accessible zip line that gives people a ride high above Fremont Street.

Riders must weigh between 60 and 250 pounds and must be under 6’7”. After getting weighed in, riders go to the top of the next-door parking garage where a covered staging area lets people watch the groups ahead of them take off down the zip line.
Riders are fitted with a harness that’s clipped onto the zip line, supporting the rider completely for the ride down the line. From the vantage point of the launching platform, riders can see just how high up they are–but you don’t get too long to contemplate the height. A quick check to make sure the harness is tight, and away you go!
It’s surprisingly easy to sit down in the harness, which is made up of several straps. The sensation of flying will make you wish the zip line were longer. The zip line’s speed is fast, but not so fast that you’re unable to take a good look around. Below you, the people on Fremont Street might just cheer you on. All around you are the hotel casinos.
If you’re riding at night, you’ll get to see the lights of Fremont Street’s famous hotels. Time your ride right, and you can zip line under the FSE when the Viva Vision light show is going on.
