Best Dance Clubs in Las Vegas

Dance the night away at Las Vegas' 10 Best dance clubs

Las Vegas’ dance clubs entertain their guests with elaborate décor and well-known DJs and celebrities. Club-goers flock to Vegas to experience the city’s high-energy dance clubs and the clubs are more than happy to oblige.

XS remains the undisputed leader of Las Vegas dance clubs, but it’s far from the only place drawing big names and big crowds.

Clubs don’t really get started until late in the night, so it’s easy to dance until dawn. There’s virtually no such thing as “last call” at these all-night parties. To have the best time, remember that a night at the club doesn’t come cheap. At most clubs, be prepared for a cover charge and for the evening’s tab to be high, especially for drinks. And before you arrive, be sure you’re dressed stylishly–the majority of the dance clubs on our list have dress codes.

The nightclubs in Las Vegas all offer dancing, but each has some distinguishing features, whether it’s the size of the dance floor, the type of music they play, their day club or even their view. At Drai's Beach Club & Nightclub and Voodoo Rooftop, guests have memorable views of the Strip, and they can dance indoors or outdoors.

Oddfellows is a video nightclub, a casual place in Downtown Las Vegas that bills itself as a dance club for people who don't like dance clubs. You won't find any requirements for "upscale attire" to get in and the drink prices won't shock you. Covers are usually inexpensive when charged, and while the crowd tends to be hipster, you'll see all ages. Every night has a theme, including karaoke on Tuesday, 90s tunes on Wednesday and an 80s dance party on Friday, but there's also a night for K-Pop. Video DJs keep the giant screens filled with videos and the music keeps the crowd dancing. This small club has a casual, eclectic style that includes Ouija boards, vinyl records and plenty of retro tunes.

Recommended for Dance Clubs because: Oddfellows offers an alternative to the typical nightclub, with video DJs, a casual vibe and retro tunes.

Terrisa's expert tip: With a location near Fremont East and the Fremont Street Experience, Oddfellows is only a short distance from a host of nightlife and entertainment options in Downtown Las Vegas.

This nightclub offers spectacular, sweeping views of the city and an open-air veranda area where patrons can enjoy a cool desert breeze and some of the Strip's most potent cocktails. DJs play a mix of music, both old and new, but often with more retro tunes. Indoor space is also available, as is the expected VIP bottle service.

Recommended for Dance Clubs because: The Voodoo Rooftop Nightclub and Lounge sits high atop the Rio and offers guests an incredible view to go along with the music and drinks.

Terrisa's expert tip: Start your night with a great dinner at the Voodoo Steakhouse, located just below the nightclub, and you can get free entry into the nightclub.
