Crepes may be one of the most commonly known French foods, and at La Maison de Maggie the menu features crepes and galettes. The restaurant uses only authentic French buckwheat and wheat flour imported from France to make its creations. The homey, comfortable interior has a countryside feeling that's unfussy and casual. For galettes, choose from dishes like the Polo, ham, blue cheese and fresh spinach, or the Flying Baby with tomato, mozzarella and blue cheese. Galettes are gluten-free and are only $11. The crepes will satisfy any sweet tooth: Lauren comes with Nutella, strawberry and whipped cream, while LouLou has vanilla chestnut jam and whipped cream (and they're only $5 to $8), and there are several other choices as well. Salads, omelets and other dishes are also available.
- French: "If you're traveling to La Maison de Maggie from the Strip, it's only a short drive west of the Strip and it's close to the Desert Inn arterial, which takes traffic under the Strip for easier east-west travel."
- Best for French Because: The delicious crepes and galettes at La Maison de Maggie are created with the finest ingredients, including imported French flour.
