Americana is located off-the-Strip, overlooking small Lake Jacqueline in the Desert Shores community. The serene ambiance feels worlds away from the Strip, although it's only about a 20 minute drive. In addition to a dinner, lunch and Sunday brunch menu, Americana also offers a five-course tasting menu and the Weekly Harvest menu, which features seasonal dishes. For dinner, start off your meal with something like oysters, sashimi or seared foie gras. Choose from entrees like the Smoked King Salmon with cucumber salad and fingerling potatoes, or the Braised All Day Short Rib with truffle potato cubes and heirloom carrots. Each dish is prepared with the care you would expect from a chef with a history of working in the Strip's most prestigious restaurants. The food is defined as American cuisine, with dishes that combine both familiar elements and original, deep flavors.
- Fine Dining: "Small Plate Thursdays offers a nice selection of Americana's food, like the Colossal Prawn with uni butter and charred lemon or Saffron Arancini with octopus and Romesco sauce. Dishes are $15 or less."
- New and Popular Restaurants: "Americana offers private dining for up to 40 guests, with access to indoor and outdoor areas, including a private patio. Venue buyouts are available for up to 150 people."
- Best for Fine Dining Because: Americana offers guests a lovely view of a lake and inventive, seasonal fine food.
- Best for New and Popular Restaurants Because: Richly flavored and expertly prepared dishes of American-style cuisine are served in a serene setting at Americana, an off-the-Strip find earning plenty of attention recently.
