Costa di Mare

Costa di Mare brings in fresh fish from Italy each day for its seafood dishes, specializing in fish native to the Italian Mediterranean. You'll find a wide selection of freshly caught, flavorful fish that you may not have previously heard of, like pagaro (purple snapper), occhiona (big eye red sea bream) or San Pietro (John Dory). All the dishes reflect the Italian style of Costa di Mare, like the appetizer Saute di Vongole with sauteed tiny clams, tomato sauce, garlic, white wine and parsley--but flavors go beyond the expected. Crispy zucchini blossoms with anchovies and Buffalo mozzarella, spaghetti with rock lobster and seafood risotto offer a host of tempting choices. Two tasting menus are also offered, one a family-style seafood feast and one styled after a memorable dinner prepared by the chef in New York.
