The MGM Grand is home to two restaurants from Chef Joel Robuchon, the celebrated French chef. Of the two, L'Atelier is known as the more casual, slightly less expensive of the restaurants. An open kitchen gives diners a view behind the scenes, especially for those sitting at the counter. While L'Atelier isn't as ultra posh as its sister, the eponymously named Joel Robuchon, it's still an elevated, high-end dining experience that's priced accordingly. Course selections include dishes like langoustine, Iberico ham, a beef and foie gras burger and Wagyu beef ribeye with potato puree. Since this is a French restaurant, the desserts are divine: creations like Le Cafe, coffee chantilly, chocolate sable and coffee ice cream. The red, stylish interior has a clean, classic ambiance that suits the cuisine well. Reservations are recommended.
