10Best Resorts in Reno: Spas, Restaurants, Bars and Truckee River Access

Many of the larger casino hotels in the Reno area are also resorts that offer restaurants, bars, pools and spa areas, exercise rooms, concerts and entertainment as well as suites and rooms ready for relaxing. If you want to stay downtown, Harrah's Hotel & Casino, the Silver Legacy, and the Eldorado are your best bet. If you want to get out of the main downtown area, stay at the Grand Sierra Resort just a few blocks East or the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino or the Atlantis Hotel & Casino in South Reno. All three of these locations have great restaurants, world-class entertainers and shows as well as some excellent spa treatments.

If you want something more low-key, try the Siena Hotel & Spa on the Truckee River. This small spa resort caters to those who want less crowds and gaming and more relaxation. For the kids, stay at the Circus Circus Resort Casino near the Silver Legacy and enjoy daily circus acts, the Midway, fun restaurants and lots of space for running around.
