This is not the nicest restaurant in town, but this dive of a diner serves up Heaven on a plate (or in this case) a basket. The Awful Awful is the famous burger of Reno that has been a star on Food Wars on FoodTV and there's a reason: the huge, juicy burger on an onion bun with crisp lettuce and tomato is delicious. The seasoned fries served with them have bowled some people over. The diner serves other things besides the Awful Awful like eggs and pancakes, sandwiches, salads, Chicken Fried Steak, but most people come in for that burger.
Local Expert tip: The Nugget Diner accepts cash only.
