The snow is about to fly in the mountains around Lake Tahoe, and one of the best ways to see the higher elevations is to snowmobile in the deep powder. Thankfully, the Hyatt Regency in North Lake Tahoe is offering a snowmobile adventure package along with a room booking during the cold weather season.
The Snowmobile Tracks tours last two hours, as expert guides take guests up into the Tahoe National Forest above the resort into the snow-capped peaks and pine trees. Tours also include a stop to view the "Big Blue" from above.

After the tour, guests return to the resort and get treated to a toasty cocktail in the luxurious and newly renovated Grand Lodge, which is reminiscent of a traditional alpine lodge, complete with rough timber beams, large indoor fireplaces and an open-air firepit, with deck chairs and views of the North Shore.
Live entertainment is sometimes offered in the Grand Lodge as well as slots, blackjack, craps and a complete sports book bar. Afterwards, guests can also visit the Cutthroat's Saloon for their large beer menu or the award-winning Lone Eagle Grille for their seasonal menus that offer lunch, dinner and après ski specials.

Snowmobile Tracks packages start at $449 a night. After booking, guests can call Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tours and book any two-hour ride they wish.
Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Tours are located just north of North Lake Tahoe on Highway 26. Tours depart three times a day and follow over 100 miles of machine-groomed trails through the foothills and the tops of the Sierra Nevada range.
Tours include all safety gear you need, training and practice runs on the snowmobiles and sometimes even hot drinks overlooking the view. Some snowmobiles even have heated seats and heated handlebars.
