As one of the most photographed places in the U.S., the Tahoe area has its fair share of amazing shots. From the East Shore and its granite boulders at sunset to the magnificent plumage of the Stellar's Jay, there are photo opportunities around nearly every corner. Tahoe Photographic Tours in South Lake Tahoe will take you to various locations around the lake that many visitors may not know about - to capture the best light, waterfalls, the aquamarine lake at sunset and maybe even a bear or two.

Tahoe Photographic Tours is the first and most experienced scenic guide and photographic service in Lake Tahoe. Not only does the company take you to the best locations in Tahoe, but they also do it with style.

Door-to-door services and a luxury SUV chauffeured ride is included with their tours. The tours are semi-private, and you and your family are allowed plenty of time at each stop to take photos and learn additional photography techniques.

No matter what your photography level, you will get something out of the various tours. Each tour includes high resolution photos of your party, information and history of the Tahoe area and refreshments and local park passes.

There are several tours including the Ultimate Lake Tahoe Fall Colors Tour, which will take you into the aspen groves that surround the lake; the Ultimate 1/2 Day Tahoe Tour, which focuses on the South and West Shore; and the Full Day Around the Lake Tour, which takes you around the 72 miles of Tahoe shoreline.

The tours range in price from $150 to $200 per person and last about five to eight hours. The guides all have photography backgrounds and intensive backwoods knowledge of the Tahoe area. They all enjoy the outdoors and make sure you see the "real Tahoe."

Custom tours are also available for visitors who want a special experience. These include the Capture the Light or Sunset Photographer's Tour for $149 per person. The latter tour takes you to Emerald Bay at sunset to capture the best time at the lake.

Other custom tours include Winter Snowshoe Tours and Summer Hiking Tours for between $150 to $160 per person. Tahoe Photographic Tours also offers wedding tours for wedding and reception parties.
