The Tahoe Mountain Brewing Company really could not have a more perfect location. This new brewpub is located right in downtown Tahoe City with quick access to the street and plenty of parking. It's also right across the street from Common's Beach and the Tahoe City Boardwalk. Their front deck makes for a great place to sit and enjoy one of their several craft beers, brewed in nearby Truckee.

The TMBC's menu offers a fun selection of BBQ, small plates and flat bread pizzas which are great for an easy and light meal. The lunch menu selection also offers pub fare like the Tahoe Mountain Burger on a brioche bun, Pasta Carbonara with pancetta and sweet peas and even a Pretzel Encrusted Pork Schnitzel. I had the Fish Tacos with battered cod, chipotle aioli, cabbage, Pico de Gallo and lime.

Their small plates are a great idea for a light lunch: you can choose from Chickpeas with garlic, salt, pepper and paprika, Chips and Salsa, Sweet Potato Fries, Mountain Wings or Ahi Chips. The Pulled Pork Sliders with TMBC's signature BBQ sauce have cheese on them!
The TMBC's beers are only available at this restaurant and are rotated seasonally. If you're lucky, you'll be around for the smooth Paddleboard Pale Ale or the dark and chocolatey Sugar Pine Porter. The Whit Rabbit is brewed with New Zealand Pacific Jade hops, Indian coriander, Oregon Chamomile and Alligator pepper and the Motley Grand Cru is perfect for the holidays with touches of allspice and nutmeg.
