This small restaurant (it only has 30 seats) is a celebration of the local Sierra foodshed and strives to serve only the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients in their French-American influenced menu.
The Trokay is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the meal choices change weekly and by the season. Their menu typically offers about three to four delightful dishes, fifteen different artisanal cheeses, one or two desserts, an assortment of beautifully styled dishes with a twist, and great wine, beer and coffee choices.

The breakfast menu includes baked goods like scones and croissants, English muffins and a variety of breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The lunches include sandwiches, salads and soups and feature special items like croque monsieur and pulled pork sandwiches.
The dinner menu is where the real artisan work comes in. Try popular menu items like the grilled local sweet corn polenta, braised milk-fed veal cheek and breakfast radish, or the salt cured torchon of humanely-raised foie gras. Other dishes include the Lousiana crawfish salad with nasturtium, celeriac mousse and horseradish. Desserts include coffee and ice cream affogato, buttermilk panna cotta and bourbon maple pecan tartlet.
