The Nevada side of Lake Tahoe has a wide range of casinos to choose from: local hangouts with great food and musical bands to high-class resorts that feature elegant rooms, award-winning chefs and relaxing spas. The Stateline area of Lake Tahoe is known for having the most and biggest casinos. These include the brand new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the tried and true Harrah's Lake Tahoe, the music inspired Harvey's and the high-end MontBleu resort. They are all within a quick walk of each other and are close to the Heavenly ski resort.

Most casinos in the area feature slot and video games, table games, sports bars, roulette, high roller rooms, player clubs and tournaments. Other features in each of the hotels are restaurants and bars, spas and outdoor or indoor pool areas.
