There are a wide range of hotels in the Lake Tahoe area: ski resorts that offer condos and suites, spa resorts, hotels with views of the lake and the mountains or a casino right in the middle of concert central. To get a great deal at a Lake Tahoe hotel or bed and breakfast, visit during the off season in the spring or fall. During the ski season and the summer season, most hotels will raise their rates and require minimum night stays. Tahoe during the fall is beautiful and you can get a great hotel value.
