10 Best Pet-Friendly Hotels, Inns and Cabins at Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe is so much better when you can bring your best furry friend along. Dogs are allowed on several of the beaches and trails around the Tahoe area and there are also places to stay for pet owners. Here are the 10Best hotels, inns and Bed and Breakfasts in the Tahoe area that will accept your pooch or kitty as another customer.

Two of the most famous is the Cedar House Sport Hotel near Truckee and the cute cottages at Tahoma Meadows B&B. Both of these places to stay also offer special events and activities just for dog owners. Another place you can take your dog is the Zephyr Cove Resort's family and group cabins on the east side of the lake.

Some of the larger resorts that accept pets include The Ritz-Carlton at the Northstar ski area near Truckee and they Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe in Incline Village. All of the rooms at the Fireside Lodge are pet-friendly and the Cedar Glen Lodge allows two pets per room.
