10 Best Takeout Restaurants in Lake Tahoe

Sometimes the weather is just too nice to eat inside, and there might be no better place to eat a pizza or some burgers than on a beach at Lake Tahoe. Here are several cafés and restaurants in the Tahoe area that allow you to take your food on-the-go.

If you want your Tahoe picnic to include a hot pie, head to Base Camp Pizza Incline Village or to the Front Street Station Pizza Company in Tahoe City for some excellent pizzas, calzones and other Italian delights. If you are getting your breakfast to-go, head to Rude Brothers Bagels for their fresh and fat bagels and cream cheese or head to the Fire Sign Café in Tahoe City and eat your egg muffin while walking through the town. The Dam Café in Tahoe City serves excellent (and huge) burritos that are perfect for holding in your hand. Another couple of cafés that will let you get your food to-go is the Sprouts Cafe in South Lake Tahoe and the Keys Café in the Tahoe Keys on South Shore. Both of these places have great sandwiches for lunch as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you want a pre-made meal for your picnic, visit Cork & More in South Lake Tahoe for one of their Picnics to Go.
