With a history dating back to 1897, the Roycroft Inn has been a hub for artisans and craftsmen that drew visitors from faraway places. Today, the National Historic Landmark inn offers 28 luxurious suites and halls that are made for wandering. Explore the hand-crafted furniture and photos and articles throughout the property, or dine on the veranda of the glass-enclosed restaurant. Artisan classes are available as well as a gift shop and live jazz performance take place on Friday nights. Set in East Aurora (outside of Buffalo), the cottage-like setting and gardens make a calming overnight getaway from the city. Or stop by for a lazy Sunday brunch to get a feel for the atmosphere.
