Flora Bar

Helmed by the team behind NYC darling Estela, Flora Bar is located in the Met Breuer, but it's a sincere mistake to write it off as a "museum" restaurant. Nearly everyone - from the NY Times to Thrillist - has named Flora Bar a top dining destination due to the chef's focus on refined dishes with a European twist. Go beyond the basics with anchovies and boquerones, lamb ribs with yogurt and mojo verde or red shrimp with sea urchin and nori. The cocktail and wine list is similarly impressive, though you'll be hard pressed to find a glass under $15 and cocktails run in the $16/$17 range.
