Pix Patisserie — Photo courtesy of Meagan ShamyPix Patisserie is Portland’s sweetest late night hot spot open until 2 am every day. You can find them at their new much larger location on Burnside. Pix serves sophisticated handcrafted French desserts like the Opera, a thin almond cake with chocolate ganache and coffee buttercream. Each of their desserts are prepared individually and are a work of art.

Now that Pix has a larger restaurant, they've added an assortment of tapas to their menu at the Bar Vivant. They serve traditional Spanish tapas like boquerones (anchovies), croquetas de bacalao (fish breaded and fried), patatas bravas (roasted potatoes covered in spicy sauce), gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp), champis (stuffed mushrooms), pulpo (octopus), and jamón serrano carved to order. Pix also offers tapas with French and Oregonian influences like pimientos de padrón from Viridian Farms or Spanish-style chorizos from Olympic Provisions.
