Hotel Lucia is located in the heart of downtown Portland, OR, in an ideal location right on Broadway. Over the years, Hotel Lucia has earned a reputation for its incredible amenities, personalized service and the largest permanent collection of David Hume Kennerly’s black and white photographs. Now, Hotel Lucia has raised the bar again. It's better than ever after recently completing a $2.3 million renovation; this is just the first phase of what will eventually be a full renovation.
In keeping with the times, Hotel Lucia heavily enhanced their technology during the renovation, including the addition of a fiber optic network that makes getting connected fast and easy in all of the rooms. Other technology upgrades include outlets with USB ports, Bluetooth clock radios capable of charging smart phones, 40- and 44-inch Samsung HD TVs and cable television.

After massive technology upgrades, they kept going and renovated all the guest rooms. Now each guest room features a new, polished look. All 127 rooms, including the accessible rooms, have new custom-designed vegan-friendly furniture featuring rosewood. In addition to the new furniture, all the rooms received a fresh coat of paint and new lighting, drapery and organic carpet.
For those that have stayed here before, you will be happy to hear that the hotel kept their massive closets.
Those in need of a good mattress will be happy to hear that Hotel Lucia added Simmons Black Label Napa mattresses and 100% Egyptian cotton bedding made in Italy to their already extensive pillow menu and comfy bathrobes. Getting out of bed while staying here may turn into a struggle!
Other amenities at Hotel Lucia include Portland Roasting coffee, Smith Teas, spiritual books for any faith and iPod loaners pre-loaded with your favorite type of music. Some of their extra special amenities include Salt and Straw ice cream delivery for just $12, as well as fresh pressed juice delivery. The hotel also has a fitness center and a business center.
People are not the only ones to benefit from extraordinary benefits, because at Hotel Lucia, pets also have special amenities. These include a pet bed, bowls, loaner toys and a tasty treat.
