A 1.5-mile stretch that encompasses trails, bike paths, art installations and plenty of waterfront views, Eastbank Esplanade is the pride of Portland's Central Eastside. Affording fantastic views of Portland's skyline, there are multiple vista points from which to admire the reflection of the tall buildings on the river during the day and the city lights at night. Enjoy the 1,200-foot-long floating walkway, the longest in the United States, which provides a unique experience and sensation as you stroll; feels like you're walking on water. The park is also graced with presence of four public art pieces created by local artists. In addition, the Esplanade is bike-friendly with several cycling routes interspersed, including a new way to cross the river.
