Old Town


Pambiche is a popular Cuban restaurant serving authentic Cuban cuisine. Although their food is wonderful they are best known for their desserts. Pambiche's desserts are crafted by an in-house pastry chef, are sinful but unavoidable. Their postres (desserts) selections include traditional Cuban desserts and some of their own creations. Pambiche uses quality ingredients from Bob's Red Mill, Wessels Family Raw honey, and Vencedora pure Mexican vanilla. Here you can enjoy Panetela Borracha a Cuban sponge cake, Pudin a Cuban bread pudding, or Tres Leches cake. They even have gluten free desserts. Be sure to try their special Cafe Cubano blend of coffee made by Stumptown Coffee Roasters just for Pambiche.



Pacific Pie Company specializes in handmade sweet and savory pies. One of the owners is from Australia and it shows throughout the menu. For just $7 you cay enjoy one of their meat pies with small side salad. Meat pies include steak and cheese, traditional chicken pot pie, and many other. They even have a green curry chicken pot pie. They also serve an extensive list of dessert pies including an delicious hazelnut chocolate Bourbon pie. They offer happy hour Monday through Fridays from 3 to 6 PM during which you can eat for even less, while enjoying a $3 draft beer.

Voodoo Doughnuts serves donut creations unlike anywhere else, because where else can you find a bacon maple bar, a chocolate donut covered in coco puffs, an apple fritter "as big as your head", or buy a coffin filled with donuts. You can even get married at it's sister location in Northeast Portland while chowing down on a sweet, yeasty treat? Voodoo doughnuts are the talk of the town and indeed, the world and thanks to an eclectic blend of flavors and toppings, a selection of vegan doughnuts, and yes, the benefit of legal weddings performed by ordained ministers. They also serve Stumptown coffee.

Southeast Portland


An authentic French Bakery in south east Portland utilizing a clay firebrick bread oven. They serve French fare from the Alsace region created by award-winning and nationally recognized master baker Chef Dominique Geulin. They have sandwiches and flatbreads. St. Honoré Boulangerie also offers a large variety of breads and sweets, including their spectacular macaroons. Enjoy a Hazelnut Caramel Dacquoise: layers of caramel ganache, chocolate praline and hazelnut buttercream between crunchy hazelnut dacquoise cake or an Opera: chocolate ganache and espresso buttercream between layers of almond sponge cake. Kid's love their chouquettes. Saint Honore also features a full espresso bar and serves drip coffee.

Northeast Portland


Salt and Straw was picked by Oprah in O Magazine as having the best ice cream, so there is no wonder why there is a line around the block for a scoop of their ice cream. Salt and Straw's ice cream is handmade in small-batches using only all-natural dairy from local, sustainable and organic ingredients, as well as imported flavors from small, handpicked farms and producers around the world. Their ice cream flavors are extremely bold and unique like Sea Salt with Caramel Swirl, Freckled Woodblock Chocolate, Strawberry Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette, Almond brittle with salted ganache, and pear and blue cheese. They also serve Stumptown coffee, one of a kind lattes, and pastries.

Southeast Portland


Saint Cupcake features made-from-scratch sweet and savory creations using natural ingredients like pure Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla at their tiny location on Belmont. Cupcake flavors include the ever-popular Red Velvet, Vanilla with Cream Cheese, Big Top, Salty Captain, Coconut, and Chocolate with Hot Fudge. They offer seasonal cupcakes throughout the year. They even have vegan cupcakes. The bakery also offers delicious ice cream cupcakes consisting of chocolate cake surrounding vanilla bean ice cream center, topped with hot fudge. Also in the store you can find QUIN candy. If you give them notice and have a minimum order of 24 dots or 12 full size they will deliver your cupcakes Monday - Friday! Delivery charges start at $10 and are based on mileage - simply call us for details. They will make custom creations if you ask.



Papa Haydn's east was home to Portland's first espresso machine and is widely known among locals as the go to place to dessert. Papa Haydn's East location serves enormous portions of delectable desserts everyday. There's always a minimum of twenty six desserts to choose from and usually 8 or so seasonal desserts. The most difficult part of eating here is trying to narrow down which dessert you want. They also serve food that is not dessert, including their delicious French onion soup and large sandwiches. Papa Haydn's has another location on the west side of Portland on NW 23rd. They serve identical menus.

Northeast Portland


Patisserie has become a popular late night hotspot in Northeast Portland. Known for their award winning beautiful hand crafted French desserts, bottomless coffee, and extensive champagne list. One look at their dessert case and you will quickly see why Pix is always busy. They have over 24 desserts to choose from with flavors to suit anyone's cravings. Enjoy a glass of dessert wine along with your dessert or a Batdorf and Bronson coffee drinks. They also serve teas from local Townshend's Tea. Not in the mood for dessert then you'll appreciate their recent addition of tasty tapas, including traditional Spanish tapas.

Papa Haydn – West


First-rate cuisine is this restaurant's hallmark, as exemplified by their gourmet sandwiches and continental-styled entrees. So it is with their fabulous desserts, which have achieved almost legendary status in town. You never knew that sugar and flour could reach such heights until you yield to the temptations of Papa Haydn's dessert menu. At more than two pages, it's full of sinful treats that you'll agonize over. Should you have black velvet mousse? How about raspberry chocolate terrine? No matter which pie, cake, pastry or torte you ultimately select, it's certain that you'll go into paroxysms of delight after the first bite. Just give in, though.
