Not only is Elements easy to get to, but it's also packed a whole range of entertainment, fun design and some outstanding stores into a single mall.
Elements is located directly above the Kowloon MTR Station in Hong Kong, near the residential complex Union Square and the Western Harbour Tunnel.
More than 100 shops are packed into Elements, together with an ice rink and the 1600-seat Grand Cinema, which makes it one of the largest movie theaters in Hong Kong.
Elements is very much positioned as a shopping mall for the newly affluent and well to do. The stores are a roll call of familiar names, such as Diane von Fürstenberg, Karen Millen, Louis Vuitton, Pringle of Scotland, Prada, Gucci, Brooks Brothers, Fendi, Montblanc, Giorgio Armani and Chanel.

The mall is divided into five zones based around the Asian concept of the five elements of Nature, namely metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Each zone is designed with a distinctive interior architectural theme that responds to the element, and large sculptures are also employed to enhance the respective theme.
The Wood Zone is highlighted by the sculpture/furniture The Trails by Worms and series of artworks made of tree branches. The Water Zone is represented by the water feature "Harmony," which is a series of standalone reflective pillars measuring nine meters high with water running down the surface, creating the illusion of a solid yet liquid fountain.
The Fire Zone is symbolized by the sculpture White Heat, and the Earth Zone is symbolized by the sculpture 1/9, which is a set of rock formations. The number nine is associated with the area where the shopping mall is built because the word kowloon literally means "nine dragons."
One of the most unusual parts of Elements is its washrooms. The mall has 10, each with a lobby and a sitting area and magazine rack. These were conceived for men to wait for their partners, providing a decent and comfortable place for them to wait.
Male washrooms are stocked with cologne, aftershave and electric shavers, while the female washrooms have perfumes and make-up. Staff are on hand to ensure that all these personal items are kept hygienic.
As shopping malls go, Elements is a complete package. Staff at the concierge desk can provide helpful advice on store locations and the best places to eat, as well as lend an umbrella, charge up a mobile phone or clean spectacle lenses. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the mall. There are also self-service lockers for storing goods and a babies room for parents who want to feed their youngsters.
