Seasons restaurant in Hong Kong delivers the art of gourmet French cuisine through a blend of original ideas, innovations and surprises. Chef Olivier Elzer, whose grandfather was chef to the last Tsar of Russia, is the creative mind behind the eatery. Oriental influences crown classic French flavors in the chef’s own distinct creations, presenting an extraordinary sensory experience surrounded by the enchantment of a year in France.
All ingredients used are selected according to the variations of the seasons. The restaurant only picks premium seasonal ingredients from France and around the world. Menus are subject to change with time, so new surprises always await guests at different times of the year.
The kitchen at Seasons is fully equipped for a master chef, with unusual touches like massive teppans from Japan, a Volano slicer and a Molteni rotary grill from Italy. Some 5,000 pieces of china and tableware were individually selected to highlight the beauty of different dishes. All this goes into the splendid French banquet that greets guests at Seasons.

Seasons’ summer opening specials include finger food classics like French pink radish, Guerande salt and homemade butter; the five-flavored King crab pentad; grilled Holstein ribeye and shallots cooked in red wine and served in a mysterious wine box; and rich and refreshing chilled tamarillo gazpacho. The list goes on with meticulously slow-cooked French chicken fricassee, romaine leaves and poulette sauce; basil ice cream and brousse cheese; and many more artistically crafted dishes gently echoing a summer breeze.
Inspired by the passing of the seasons - spring’s blooms, summer’s festivities, the autumn harvest and winter feast - the restaurant fuses natural elements like timber and marble in a contemporary palette with a classic touch. The Dining Room forms the main area of the restaurant and bursts with the richness of autumn. Here, a Chef Table equipped with an open kitchen and bar seating allows guests to interact with the chef while enjoying a magnificent harvest banquet as delicious aromas fill the air.
The VIP Private Room is made up of two rooms, which can be flexibly combined to meet guests’ needs. The symbolic hues of winter are applied to emphasize the elegant and luxurious ambience. In the Green House, a glass canopy with gauze ignites the area with natural light, evoking the sense of a private communion with nature in spring. This dining area can also be flexibly separated for private parties.
Finally, the outdoor Garden Terrace is the perfect place to celebrate summer. The vast expanse in the open air makes it an ideal venue for cocktail parties or an aperitif before dinner.
