Bugis+, formerly known as Iluma, has reopened in the Bugis area, just a short walk from the Colonial District and Kampong Glam areas of Singapore. This 10-storey mall with its illuminated crystal mesh façade has been wowing passersby with its large scale media installations, becoming a familiar landmark along Victoria Street, since it reopened in July following a $38 million makeover.

The mall houses around 194,000 square feet of retail and lifestyle space, its 90 outlets targeting predominantly young adults and teenagers. Well known international fashion brands include Adidas, Calvin Klein underwear, Pull & Bear, new look, La Senza and Bershka, in addition to Singapore’s largest Uniqlo store, covering more than 20,000 square feet over two floors.

Other highlights sure to pull in the teenage crowd include an 8-screen FilmGarde Cineplex, the multi-themed KSuites karaoke suites, T Café boardgame café and St Games Café – Singapore’s first video games café.

Dining options also cater largely to a young, local crowd, with fast food favorites McDonalds and Subway joined by branches of popular mid-level restaurant chains such as Thai Express, Asian Kitchen, Ramen Champion, Crystal Jade HK Café In and Bonchon Chicken.

A bridge links Bugis+ to Bugis Junction shopping mall, where Bugis MRT station is located. Bugis+ is open 10am to 10pm daily.
