Workshop Element (or W.E to those in the know) has recently opened on Orchard Road, providing local fashionistas with a one-stop shop for local Singapore fashion design talent.

The retail store, opened on 9th August, is set within the newly refurbished Wisma Atria shopping mall in the heart of Orchard Road. The 6,000 square feet of raw industrial space allows each of the 19 brands and 16 local Singapore fashion designers to create their own space within a space to suit each brand’s aesthetics.
The mélange of local creative talent includes new start-ups such as Sceneplicity and Laark, young emerging designers like Elohim and Reckless Erika and established veterans to the Singapore fashion scene such as AWOL, Womb and Woon Choor. The eclectic mix of offerings within Workshop Element includes fashion items for both men and women, including clothing, bags, jewelry and eye wear.

This new concept store promises to make locals proud of the emerging Singapore fashion scene. For visitors to Singapore, it presents a great opportunity to take home a piece of local fashion (and guarantee that nobody else will be wearing the same outfit as you back home!).
Wisma Atria shopping mall is directly accessible from Orchard MRT station and has underground links to both ION Orchard shopping mall and Ngee Ann City shopping mall.
