The world’s largest oceanarium is due to open in Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa in early December, 2012. Marine Life Park will comprise two ticketed attractions, giving visitors the option of wet or dry fun.

Southeast Asia Aquarium (S.E.A Aquarium) will be the world’s biggest aquarium, featuring over 100,000 marine animals from over 800 species, in over 60 million liters of water. Star attractions will include manta rays, hammerhead sharks and Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins.

Adventure Cove Waterpark will give thrill seekers the opportunity to get wet and wild. Six water slides will include the Riptide Rocket, Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic roller coaster (a water slide that takes riders upwards), while a wave pool and the 620m-long Adventure River inner tube ride will add to the fun.

More uniquely – and a first for the region – Adventure Cove Waterpark will allow visitors to snorkel amid over 20,000 fish at Rainbow Reef. The park will also feature shark feeding and other immersive experiences, as well as interactive programs with the dolphins.

The opening of Marine Life Park caps a list of twelve major launches in Resorts World Sentosa, which opened in January 2010 and includes six hotels, a convention center, ESPA spa, 24-hour casino, theater, celebrity chef restaurants and a Universal Studios theme park.
