The port of Charleston is the nations fourth busiest container shipping port, but it is also an embarkation point (and popular stop) on several cruise lines. The Carnival Fantasy calls Charleston its home port, making it an easy embarkation for cruisers on the East Coast (without having to drive to Florida). The Fantasy sails to Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas on five-day voyages. Regent Seven Seas, Crystal Cruises, Holland America, Travel Dynamics International, and Oceania also call on Charleston on a handful of itineraries.
