Take a tour of the human body in a way that is both entertaining and informative at the Bodies Revealed exhibit at Broadway at the Beach.

Using 14 full human body specimens and more than 200 organs preserved via the Polymer preservation process, Bodies Revealed offers hands-on exploration of these miraculous functions and systems at work within every living human body at all times. This exhibit takes visitors on a virtual tour of the human body with step by steps processes, such as the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive systems and many more. Learn how the body transforms food into fuel and transports oxygen-enriched blood to the farthest extremities.

Those are just a few of the various functions that are examined in the attraction, which brings to life things that usually go unseen within your own body. Although based in science in the same styles of famous anatomists Vesalius and da Vinci, Bodies Revealed presents the information in an entertaining way.

Children can learn about the miracles hidden beneath their skin while also being allowed to examine and handle actual organs that have been preserved using the polymer preservation process, which uses a revolutionary technique to allow donated organs to be used as actual exhibits in the attraction. Each full body specimen is dissected to reveal the function of a complete anatomical system and to show that system’s relationship to the body as a whole.

Bodies Revealed provides knowledge to the lay public that was previously only available to the medical profession. By taking a three-dimensional tour of the human body, visitors undergo a valuable experience that provides them with a new connection to and appreciation of their own bodies.
