The Boom Boom Wine Room in Myrtle Beach is experiencing a bit of a boom in business.
Originally opened primarily as a wine tasting bistro with a limited but creative food menu, Boom Boom Wine Room has branched out to offer a full lunch and dinner service.
The cuisine is as tasteful as the fine wines and elegant atmosphere the bistro is known for.

Located in the upscale Dunes section of Myrtle Beach and tucked away in a corner of Northwoods Shopping Center, Boom Boom Wine Room has grown a dedicated fanbase since its opening as a bar, prompting an expansion of dining options while maintaining the same farm-to-table philosophy.
The new lunch menu includes an eclectic selection of soups, salads and sandwiches – all served with the Boom Boom Wine Room's flair for fresh, local seafood and produce.
And the existing dinner menu has been expanded to highlight the flavors of the Carolina coast.
Among the "Soppin' Wet" soups are the house special Tomato Basil with grilled cheese croutons; the Southern Seafood Chowder; and Boom Boom Chili (no beans, but lots of flavor); as well as seasonal soups of the day.
The Southern classic Nutty Fried Chicken, Blackened Fish Tacos and Salmon Eggs Benedict are among the popular lunch choices.
The "Garden of Eatin'" lineup includes the famous Boom Boom Wedge Salad, the Sunburst Spinach and Salmon Salad, and the Shaved Brussells Sprout Salad.
The Boom Boom Wine Room also has expanded its selection of fresh breads, meats and cheese platters. Try the Candied Bacon and Pickled Watermelon Rind Deviled Eggs or the Roasted Tri-Color Pepper Bruschetta.
Small plates and main courses are creative, like the Peppercorn Rubbed Flat Iron Steak with Pan-Fried Buttermilk Herb Encrusted Beefsteak Tomato; the Blackened Fresh Catch of the Day Tacos; and the Oven-Fried Chicken with Buttermilk Waffles.
Daily and nightly specials include entrees, side items, appetizers and desserts. Be sure to save room for the Boom Boom's Original Bananas Foster Crème Brûlée or a Dark Chocolate Ganache Cupcake, and wash it all down with one of the many wines, coffees, teas and other beverages.
Yes, you can still enjoy the fine wines and upscale environment of Boom Boom Wine Room without turning it into a meal. Regular wine tastings, club gatherings, poetry slams and live music are still part of the non-dining alternatives.
But the savory flavors and aromas coming from the kitchen these days just might make you change your mind.
