You probably wouldn't expect the latest Barcelona 'it bar' to be situated down the street from Plaza 'Tripi' (let the name speak for itself), however the latest nightlife craze has graced the Gotico neighborhood with its presence and is fast becoming a city hot spot and the place to be seen.
Factory Club has tapped into Barcelona's need to create a fresh musical space in the heart of the city’s downtown core. Attracting a hip, young and trendy crowd, the club is equipped to hold more than 800 people nightly and features well-known local, as well as international, DJs who spin until 6 am. The space resembles that of a New York warehouse with a rustic, unassuming elegance and is ideal not only for spun techno, house and electronic music, but also for live bands and private concerts.

The best way to avoid the lines, especially on the weekends, is to get your name on the V.I.P list via Factory Club's website, their Facebook page, or by showing up before 1 am; the club might be empty at that hour, but it fills up quickly. Entrance is a bit steep and cocktails are on the pricier side, but it’s definitely worth the price, especially if you’re in the mood for a fun, lively and long night out.
