One of Barcelona's newest eclectic nightlife locales, Sor Rita puts a funky spin on kitsch. The bar features nightly specials every day of the week including tarot card Mondays, open buffet Tuesdays, bilingual 'kutreoke' Wednesdays, gin and tonic Thursdays and even a monthly secondhand market on the last Sunday of the month, with everything between 1-3 Euros.

The bar's eccentric decor is inspired by movies such as Dark Habits and All About My Mother, with orgy barbies in Kama Sutra positions on the walls and a collection of high heels glued to the ceiling and dedicated to the 20th century sinners.
Located on the edge of Barcelona's most historic neighborhood, the Gotico, Sor Rita's retro-kitsch motif is becoming vastly popular amongst locals and tourists alike. Open from 7 pm - 3 am, this is a great place for excellent cocktails with the house specialties being named after Almodovar characters including Kika and Paul Vazo amongst others.
And if you're longing for tunes from the past, then their playlist is sure to impress. Featuring a mix of Abba, the Supremes and Marisol & the Gypsy Kings, the bar turns into a mini funky dance club, full of Barcelona's hippest modernos (Spanish hipsters) and eccentric types.
