If you're looking for something cultural and educational to do, in order to counterbalance the Barcelona sangria sipping and tapas/bar hopping routine, check out famous chef Ferran Adria's exhibit on Passeig De Gracia. Even if you're not a foodie, if you can appreciate genuine talent, then this is worth seeing.

The exhibit showcases Ferran's work in a variety of unique ways, including building models of his most famous dishes found at the number one restaurant in the world, elBulli (until it closed a year ago). There is also an in depth history about his life, with a live interview and message from Ferran himself where you’ll discover what inspired the young chef to start creating gastronomical genius.
The exhibit is at Palau Robert on Passeig de Gracia and will run until March 3rd, 2013.
