Jamboree DJ — Photo courtesy of JamboreeRenowned for its late night vibe, cheap drinks and unpretentious atmosphere, Jamboree has always been one of Barcelona's most sought after clubs. Ideal for locals and expats alike, this trendy basement bar in the city center, just off of La Rambla in Plaza Reial, is a great space for live venues and late night beats. Depending on the night, the club features a mix of hip hop, disco, electronic, 80s and rock music; it’s now trying its hand at consistent live music shows.
Every Friday and Saturday evenings, before the crowds pour in, Jamboree will play live tunes. Entrance is free before 10 pm, so it's a great way to avoid the cover charge and enjoy an entire evening of music; first live and then with well-known DJs.
And if you feel like switching things up for a bit, Jamboree is located around the corner from several fun, late night clubs; Cafe Royale is around the corner, Sidecar is across the street and Marula Café and Macarena Clubs are both just minutes away. So you can easily spend the evening disco hopping in Ciutat Vella (Old City) and the Gothic Quarter.
Their live music is scheduled to begin in September 2012 and if successful, it’s set to continue into the new year.
