Having made a name for itself in Barcelona as the city's Vietnamese "street food deli," LaVietnamita has grown so much in popularity over the years that it's now opening a second location in The Born. Serving an affordable menu of healthy dishes - as well as fried, baked and fresh Vietnamese specialties - this is a relaxed, unassuming restaurant situated in the heart of one of the city's chicest neighborhoods.
Owned by a group of expats, LaVietnamita caters to locals and tourists alike with menus in both English and Spanish. Their logo reads, "We mind food," and their commitment to serving fresh, healthy products is evident in every dish.
Some favorites on the menu include the Chay veggie burger and the noodle supreme - a rice Fideua dish mixed with chicken and a special lime sauce, and sprinkled with a touch of coco.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and adapt the menu for specific dietary needs. Whether you're a vegetarian or wheat and gluten averse, they'll help you find something tasty and filling.
The Born location is just as intimate as the Gracia one, so it's best to make a reservation ahead of time, especially on weekends. After you've finished eating, head over to Passeig de Gracia (a 30-second walk away) and have a digestif at one of the bars.
