The Arabic baths are made up of several pools, some hot, some cold and then the extremes being piping hot and ice cold. You're given an hour in the baths and then if you book the massage as well, there's a small room to the side where one you can enjoy a 20 minute or hour long massage. Owned and run by two young Catalans, Purple is a new and inspiring multi-aesthetics spa. They focus on a very personalized customer service and with only two pedicure seats and three manicure tables, they're more about quality than quantity. The spa also offers a range of massages, beauty and skin treatments as well as laser hair removal with their in house specialist. This is a tranquil place to spend a few hours, read magazines and enjoy an afternoon of pampering. Purple is located right off of the chic, Passeig de Gracia street, so once you're finished treating yourself, continue while shopping.
