Segovia Cathedral is an outstanding work of architecture. Constructed in the 16th century in mostly late Gothic style but with some Renaissance elements, the cathedral features a 90 meter high bell tower topped with a spire as well as 33 meter high vaults and gorgeous stained glass windows. The cathedral's interior and chapels are decorated with historical paintings and sculptures, like the 16th century triptych in Saint Andrew's Chapel or the main altarpiece which was sculpted from bronze in the 18th century. The altarpiece contains sculptures of Segovia's patron saints, three siblings who lived in the 7th century, who are also buried in the cathedral.
